IC446 is a faint reflection nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. You can see the blue nebula and surrounding dark clouds that obscure some of the rich star field. I would like to have had better weather for this but mother nature did not cooperate. Some of the luminance data was captured during nights with a visible moon. This is a 10.5 hour exposure, taken over several nights with less than good seeing beginning February 27 through March 19, 2014. Click on the image for a closer view.
